Allotment 15a

Well, signed on the dotted line. We will be proud owners of 15a from 1st June. The plot has some rhubarb already...going to seed but can save that. A few fruit bushes & some apple trees which may or may not be going. No shed though, so trying to source a shed 6x4 only (allotment rules). Found a shabby shed on Facebook for £25. No idea how I will get it from Elgin if it is available. The shed is priority. In addition to the allotment we also get a small plot in the polytunne. How cool is that? Tomatoes here I come. Roll on 1st June.

15a is my plot! Sounds a bit like Harry Potter I'm thinking & I hope to create some magic here too. My first viewing is tomorrow & I am anxious about it. The plot is currently managed by a committee member. No pressure there then to succeed. The plot is well maintained apparently with some raised beds & some apple trees. The plot holder is planning to take some items so need to see what's left. I have to come to an arrangement on what is left. #allotmentetiquette.    I am excited.
