Named & Shamed

I must admit I have neglected the allotment this year due to too much going on & busy with work. Not much an excuse I know. I have managed to grow some great rhubarb, nero kale & a few broadbeans.  I was almost named & shamed at the EGM yesterday, but did point out that it wasn't just my name on the tenancy 🤔 Today the big clean up has begun & a light rekindled to restart.

Annual leave Thursday

Couple of hours down at 15A. The boss was down making use of the new brew station. Meanwhile cracking on with path edging. Planted a lone brussel sprout plant, some free 'walking onions' & done sunflowers.

Lockdown in May with 🌨️

Few hours at 15A today. Second wave of broad beans & peas planted. Some Swede seedlings & some free purple broccoli too. Interesting day weatherwise with sunshine, hail & snow. Nicola, contrary to Boris, is still saying Stay At Home.

Beautiful day up here in Nairn. Can't go anywhere due to the lockdown but are allowed down onto the allotment. Today's job: painting the shed....purple!

This wee grumpy fella is a joy to see in these unprecedented times. Avoiding allotment at moment due to #stayathomeprotectthenhs but have to visit this weekend as some plants exploding out of their pots in the sunroom
